Severe flooding death toll in India, Nepal and Bangladesh surpasses 300

Death toll from intense flooding in parts of India, Bangladesh, and Nepal surpassed 300 on July 22, 2019.
Vast parts of eastern India have been affected by heavy rains and floods over the past two weeks, claiming lives of at least 200 people.
7.27 million people have been affected and 102 lost their lives in the state of Bihar, 3.83 million were affected and 64 people killed in Assam, 32 people died in Uttar Pradesh, and several in Tripura and Mizoram.

Heavy rains in Bangladesh have left 47 people dead and at least 90 in Nepal.
The water levels of the two rivers, Padma and Jamuna are increasing as reported by the Bangladesh Water Development Board.
Authorities are finding it extremely difficult to provide relief supplies to the affected people.
According to Foyez Ahmed, the deputy commissioner of Bogra district in  Bangladesh, there are ample relief materials but the main issue is to get the relief to the people. There is an immense shortage of transport facilities to cover the regions that are submerged underwater.
The floods in Sirajgang and Tangail regions may cause havoc together with Manikgang, Rajbari, Faridpur, and Munshiganj regions.
