In a mud flow, Northeast of the Congo, 200 people lost their lives.
Mud flow occurred in ituri province. According to the Lieutenant Governor of keta, the difficult geographical conditions prevent access to the scene, decreasing the probability of finding survivors. The local authorities decided to stop the rescue work
Keta said that more than a thousand residents were left homeless, there is a shortage of food. The International Community is expected to provide assistance.
