New Zealand's Earthquake Activity this Year.

This year's earthquake activity in this part of the world can be seen here in this map. The earthquakes shown are between 5-6R only for simpliciy. This is the band active this year, we have not seen yet anything stronger. We can see 4 events in South Island land or near enough on land and about 3 on the North Island Eastern tip. Although we can see more earthquakes along the fault further NE.
Just interesting to see the distribution, as we enter probably a period of activation there.
