A 5.2R earthquake came in this afternoon in Japan, at the location and time stated in the EMSC report. We have also been expecting this today, as we posted yesterday, and our calculations were:
Location possible: (35.5N, 140E)
When: 23rd December 2016
Magnitude: About 6R
Time: If it comes it could come early, 04:30GMT is a possibility.
1 degree off and 0.8R in magnitude. We think the prediction is pretty good, the time of the day was not quite right but this is the last to worry about.
