Nepali rock star nun Ani Choying Drolma to perform in New York and Washington

Popular Nepali rock star nun Ani Choying Drolma will perform in New York and Washington, DC.

The rock star nun, who has fans all over the world, is in the United States as a Guest of Honor of the United Nations on the occasion of the International Day of Happiness on March 20. She is scheduled to perform at the UN in New York on Sunday at 5 pm.Additionally, Drolma will perform at the Colden Auditorium in New York City on March 26, 2016. The proceeds of that concert will go toward an earthquake relief initiative undertaken by the Grassroot Movement in Nepal (GMIN), a nonprofit organization.

In Washington, DC, Drolma will perform at Lisner Auditorium in George Washington University on April 2, 2016. to raise the funds for earthquake relief effort of Gorkhaly Foundation.

The 44-year-old has recorded more than a dozen albums during her 16-year music career.
