There was no sleeping thru that' - Christchurch shaken by strong 4.3 magnitude earthquake


Christchurch was rattled by a strong 4.3 magnitude earthquake this morning which was felt my many.

 The quake struck at 3.32am and was felt by more than 1800 people according to GeoNet.
GeoNet has since recorded four after shocks in Christchurch ranging in intensity from magnitude 2.2 to 2.7.
Twitter user John Kelcher described the quake: "There was no sleeping thru that earthquake. Had a long rolling tail and left me awake and wondering?
