An earthquake measuring five degrees on Richter scale hit the northern parts of Pakistan today with no news reported on human or material losses.
The Pakistani Meteorology and Geological Survey department said the quake's epicenter was located at a depth of 80 kilometers in the series of Hindokosch mountains stretching between Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
The quake was felt by residents of Chitral, Malakend, Swat valley and parts of Afghanista
