The following planetary alignments are present and will be staying with us until the 11th December 2015, marking the nature of this period on earth. The same two planetary alignments of today, are those that triggered late last night's 7.1R are as shown below:
We have 1) JUPITER-SUN-NEPTUNE alignment and 2) URANUS-EARTH-JUPITER/MARS....

Looking at it geocentrically, we still have those squares I mentioned yesterday....
Specifically JUPITER SQUARE MERCURY and NEPTUNE SQUARE SATURN are all active.
The trigger of course was Moon last night going over the North Node, giving the final push for the 7.1R we saw. Be Safe Be Good Be Happy!
