We promised you periodically to post in here snippets of our research to make it educational to the ordinary people. Here we have displayed using our software, on a global map all >6R earthquakes for the last 2 years. We can draw first a line extending from Greece to Chile (in 2 segments) joining as many as possible earthquakes. We can see this line on the surface of the globe spans 270 degrees and we could possibly say this is the longest straight line on earth formed by clusters of earthquakes. Quite interesting this is I think. I drew also another line slanted which is probably the second longest line joining earthquakes.(Worth saying those lines although drawn on a planar projection map, on reality they are curved on a sphere.
