COLIMA, Mexico (CBS) - The Colima Volcano, also known as the Fire Volcano continues to erupt on Saturday, releasing a plume of ash and smoke.
The volcano had two explosions at 1:50 AM local time and a second one at 12:04 PM.
The second explosion reached an altitude of over 1.2 miles. Colima is located approximately 428 miles from Mexico City.
Authorities have warned people to stay away from the crater, but have not ordered evacuations.
